North Annex House

The renovation of this quaint little house in the north Annex will begin this spring. The renovation must create places to store beloved books and artifacts, to read, cook, and enjoy the preternaturally preserved farmhouse light. The material palette being considered: honey coloured wood floors and cabinets - perhaps iroko or teak - creamy white walls, soapstone and slate surfaces. Enameled French lamps in various colours will be essential for reading amongst moroccan blankets and cushions.
